WASHINGTON AND DENVER — Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP (WBK) is proud to announce that 25 attorneys have been named to Best Lawyers lists in the 2022 Edition of “Best Lawyers in America.” Additionally, Phil Roselli was named Lawyer of the Year in Communications Law in the Denver metro area — a designation bestowed to those with the highest overall peer-feedback for a specific practice area and geographic region. Only one lawyer is recognized as the “Lawyer of the Year” for each specialty and location. Phil joins Managing Partner Bryan Tramont and Ray Gifford as the third WBK attorney honored with this distinction.

Eighteen attorneys were named Best Lawyers in their respective practice areas while seven attorneys were named in the Ones to Watch category — a recognition given to attorneys who are earlier in their careers for outstanding professional excellence in private practice. Ones to Watch recipients typically have been in practice between five and nine years.

In WBK’s Denver office, Ray Gifford (10-year milestone) and Phil Roselli (5) were named “Best Lawyers” in communications law. In Washington, DC, Nick Alexander, Doc Bodensteiner, Tim Cooney, Christine Crowe, Chuck Keller (5), Adam Krinsky, Bill Maher (15), Phil Marchesiello (5), Brian Murray (5), Ken Satten (10), John Scott III, David Solomon (10), and Anne Swanson (10) were named “Best Lawyers” in communications law. Howard Liberman was named “Best Lawyer” in media law. Overall, two WBK attorneys were named “Best Lawyers” in multiple practice areas — David Oxenford (10) (communications law and media law) and Bryan Tramont (10) (communications law and media law).

In the Ones to Watch category, Brett Johnson (corporate law), Caitlin Shields (communications law and energy law) and Mark Wiranowski (communications law and energy law) represent WBK’s Denver office. In Washington, DC, Sean Conway, Emilie de Lozier, Lynne Montgomery and Rachel Wolkowitz were named to the list for communications law.
