Our Commercial and Technology Practice is focused on assisting clients to maximize value and minimize risk stemming from their commercial technology arrangements.

On the vendor/supplier side, we assist clients to draft and negotiate customer agreements—from comprehensive and customized enterprise-level commercial arrangements, such as outsourcing, technology development, and network management agreements, to standard retail terms and conditions, terms of use, end-user license agreements, and privacy policies.  We also assist clients on the customer-side of commercial transactions to achieve optimal outcomes and mitigate risks when negotiating arrangements with their technology vendors.  In addition to a full scope of telecommunications, media, and energy commercial transactions that complement the Firm’s regulatory practices, we also regularly advise clients regarding professional services arrangements, software and technology licensing, outsourcing back-office administrative functions, technology development and manufacturing agreements, data hosting and cloud computing arrangements, and technology maintenance and support agreements, among many others.
