Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP Attains Midsize Mansfield Certification Plus Status in the 2022-2023 Cohort

Wilkinson Barker Knauer is proud to announce that we have received Diversity Lab’s designation of Mansfield Certified Plus for 2022-2023! 

 

The goal of the Midsize Mansfield Rule is to increase diversity in leadership pipelines within midsize law firms by broadening the pool of women lawyers, LGBTQ+ lawyers, lawyers with disabilities, and/or underrepresented racial and ethnic lawyers who are considered for entry-level and lateral attorney job openings, firm governance opportunities, equity partner promotions, and opportunities to connect with clients.

 

Throughout this certification period, our firm collaborated with Diversity Lab to increase measurement, transparency, and accountability in our internal processes and participated in knowledge sharing of best practices with other participating firms.

 

As a Mansfield Certified Plus firm, WBK did not just exceed the requirements for considering candidates but also has achieved more than 30 percent diverse representation in current leadership roles.

 

We are proud of the unique opportunities that WBK provides for our diverse lawyers to thrive and lead our practices, and are pleased to be building on that foundation with critical insights from the Mansfield process. We will continue our work with Diversity Lab and look forward to learning from the many other firms who also have signed on to this work.
