WILKINSON BARKER KNAUER ADDS BILL HUNT

AS A PARTNER IN ITS DENVER OFFICE

WASHINGTON, D.C. and DENVER, CO – Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP announced today that Bill Hunt has joined the firm as a partner in the firm’s Denver, Colorado office, effective today.  Mr. Hunt brings to the firm more than 20 years of experience and relationships in the telecom, media, and technology industries, most recently as Director of Regulatory at DISH Network, where he worked on legislative and regulatory issues as well as transactional matters.  Mr. Hunt also served for eleven years as Vice President – Public Policy for Level 3 Communications, held numerous regulatory positions at MCI Communications Corp. and has several years of experience in private practice.  At WBK, Mr. Hunt will add to the firm’s transactional, regulatory, and state government affairs practices in Denver, and also will focus on assisting start-up companies with corporate and compliance issues. 

Mr. Hunt received a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri, and he earned his J.D. from the Western New England College School of Law.  He will continue to be a guest lecturer, adjunct professor, advisor for the Samuelson-Glushko Technology Law & Policy Clinic of the University of Colorado School of Law.
