Nancy Libin moderated a panel entitled “Even Big Brother is Paranoid: The Security and Privacy Paradox” at the University of Kansas School of Law’s annual Media & the Law Seminar. The panel included officials from the U.S. Department of Justice and the office of the Governor of Kansas, as well as a private practitioner. They discussed the challenges law enforcement faces as governments use new technology to ensure public safety. The panel was held on April 19, 2013 in Kansas City, Missouri.
