MARK WIRANOWSKI JOINS WILKINSON BARKER KNAUER’S DENVER OFFICE

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. and DENVER, CO – Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP is pleased to announce that Mark Wiranowski has joined the firm’s Denver, Colorado office.  Mr. Wiranowski joins the firm from Cooley LLP, where he developed an expertise in M&A and financing transactions for early- and mid-stage tech, biotech, natural foods and energy companies as well as in securities compliance and reporting.  Mr. Wiranowski received his Bachelor’s degree in History of Religion from Princeton University, and holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where he was a John F. Kennedy Fellow.  He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School, where he graduated first in his class, was a Dean’s Scholar, received the Don W. Sears Award, the Technical Writing Prize from the Journal on Telecommunications and High Technology Law, and the Dufford & Brown Legal Writing Competition Award.

 

While in law school, Mr. Wiranowski served as Managing Director of the Deming Center Venture Fund.  Prior to his legal career, Mr. Wiranowski served as the Director of Development and Finance at the Boston-based Girls’ Lifetime Empowerment and Awareness Program and the Assistant Director of the Harvard University Program in Education, Afterschool and Resiliency. He also spent several years as an outdoor leadership instructor, both with Outward Bound and Eckerd Youth Alternatives.
