WBK Achieves Bronze Band Ranking in the 2024 Edition of World Trademark Review 1000
Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP (WBK) is proud to announce that the World Trademark Review (WTR) has recognized WBK as a Bronze Band firm in the 2024 edition of the World Trademark Review 1000: The World’s Leading Trademark Professionals. WBK Partners were also individually ranked in WTR 1000 for trademark prosecution and strategy, with partners Radhika “Ronnie” Raju and Belinda Scrimenti both ranked in the Silver band and partner Mitchell “Mitch” Stabbe placed in the Bronze band.
WTR 1000 is promoted as the world’s only independent multimedia publication dedicated exclusively to reporting on trademark issues and is considered a ‘go-to’ resource for those seeking world-class legal trademark expertise. After extensive research and interviews with hundreds of lawyers, attorneys, and clients, the publication identifies the leading players globally in over 80 key jurisdictions.
“We are so proud of this additional recognition for WBK’s Team Trademark,” said Managing Partner Bryan Tramont. “So proud to have Ronnie Raju, our Chief Diversity Partner, join the ranks of Silver Band practitioners with Belinda Scrimenti. This builds on Ronnie’s recent recognition as a Rising Star and a Members for a Better Society Award recipient by INTA. We look forward to continuing to grow our practice around our three terrific leaders as recognized by World Trademark Review.”
Belinda Scrimenti brings her forty years of experience to WBK’s intellectual property practice: “[Belinda is] an expert in the field of intellectual property and provides an exemplary service when handling everything from trademark clearance to litigation, to negotiating worldwide settlement agreements and getting awesome results,” commented a client who took part in the research process. “She is detail oriented and a tremendous communicator who provides advice that is clear, practical and actionable. Belinda works closely with her clientele to devise strategies and plans that make business sense and thinks outside of the box to push the boundaries of what is possible.”
Mitch Stabbe is described by WTR as a “true trademark maestro with more than four decades of wisdom under his belt [who] has seen dizzying number of trademarks through to successful registration, is regularly instructed to draft and negotiate IP-rich deals, and puts in polished performances in disputes to secure significant wins.” Clients note that “It is always a positive experience working with Mitchell.”
Ronnie Raju’s experience at the USPTO is cited by clients in registering new marks as extremely beneficial, as “she is able to assess specific trademark nuances and anticipate how the USPTO may respond.” A client notes that “[w]orking with Ronnie feels like you’ve just won the last golden ticket in Willy Wonka – like the luckiest person in the world. Ronnie is a phenomenal trademark practitioner whose insightful advice, proactive approach and fantastic client communication mean she can handle any and all trademark instructions. Ronnie’s thoroughness, attention to detail and kindness are second to none.”
