Lauren is an experienced energy litigator that joins Wilkinson Barker Knauer after serving three years as an Assistant Attorney General in the Public Utilities Commission Litigation Unit at the Colorado Attorney General’s office. In that role, she litigated numerous energy regulatory matters before the Colorado Public Utilities Commission. Prior to that, Lauren served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Opioid Unit representing Colorado in multi-state litigation against opioid manufacturers and distributors for their alleged roles in the opioid epidemic. 

Lauren received her J.D. in 2016 from the George Washington University Law School where she was an editor on the Journal of Energy and Environmental Law. While in school, she also worked in chambers at the United States Court of Federal Claims, in general counsel for the Department of Defense, and for several non-profits providing pro bono legal services to disabled veterans.
