Lauren Caliendo Joins WBK as an Associate in the Denver, CO Office

DENVER — Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP (WBK) is pleased to announce that Lauren Caliendo is joining the firm as an Associate. Lauren joins WBK from the Colorado Attorney General’s office where she spent the last three years as litigation counsel for Trial Staff of the Colorado Public Utilities Commission. In that role, she litigated numerous energy regulatory matters before the Colorado Public Utilities Commission.

Prior to representing Trial Staff, she served as an Assistant Attorney General representing Colorado in multi-state litigations against opioid manufacturers and distributors for their alleged roles in the opioid epidemic.

“Lauren has been a star litigator for the staff of the Colorado PUC, and we look forward to her work on behalf of our energy and broadband clients across the region and nation,“ said Ray Gifford, Managing Partner of WBK’s Denver office.

“I couldn’t be more excited to join such an exceptional team of attorneys and professionals with a well-deserved reputation for excellence,” added Lauren Caliendo. “I look forward to working with the team on many ongoing and emerging issues in energy.”

Lauren received her J.D. in 2016 from the George Washington University Law School where she was an editor on the Journal of Energy and Environmental Law. While in school, she also worked in chambers at the United States Court of Federal Claims, in general counsel for the Department of Defense, and for several non-profits providing pro bono legal services to disabled veterans.
