Zane Altemus is an associate in the firm’s Energy group. He brings a structured and practical approach to each matter, shaped by his experience navigating high-value energy transactions and varied market structures. Zane combines legal insight with an understanding of commercial realities.

Prior to joining the firm, Zane worked at an international law firm. He has held roles with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Office of the Texas Governor. Before attending law school at the University of Virginia, he served in the United States Marine Corps.
