Tyler advises and advocates for clients in appellate litigation, regulatory, and enforcement matters. His work includes advocacy on subjects such as emerging technologies (including AI infrastructure and uncrewed aircraft systems), public safety communications, network resiliency, privacy, cybersecurity, wireless communications, digital discrimination, intellectual property, and spectrum policy. He has helped clients navigate complex regulatory issues, including by obtaining FAA approval for novel UAS operations, and provides guidance on compliance with complex regulatory frameworks. He also works on various pro bono projects, including asylum and housing conditions cases.
Before joining WBK, Tyler worked for a law firm that specializes in telecommunications law and for a major phone carrier, as well as running his own business that provided public relations and research services to electoral candidates and non-profit clients. Prior to law school, Tyler ran a non-profit advocacy organization after serving as a communications director for various officials, candidates, and organizations. Tyler joined WBK’s Washington, D.C. office after graduating from the George Washington University Law School. He received his B.A. from Northwestern University, where he majored in Political Science and double-minored in Economics and Religious Studies.
In his free time, Tyler hikes in Shenandoah, cheers for a Cincinnati Bengals Super Bowl win, manages too many fantasy football teams, reads science fiction and fantasy novels, and supports various causes in his Arlington, VA community.
