Theresa Oliver joined WBK’s Washington, D.C. office after receiving a Juris Doctor with a concentration in Technology and the Law from Cornell Law School.
During law school, Theresa served as an Associate for the LII Supreme Court Bulletin, Cornell Law’s online journal. In her role, she co-wrote previews on upcoming U.S. Supreme Court cases. She also participated in the First Amendment Clinic and was selected as a fellow in the prestigious Salzburg Lloyd N. Cutler Fellows Program. The Salzburg Cutler Fellows series is a highly interactive program where graduate students from the top U.S. law schools develop leadership skills and present their own research and writings on topics covering developments in both public and private international law.
Prior to joining the firm, Theresa was a judicial extern with the Honorable Timothy M. Reif who sits on the United States Court of International Trade in New York City as well as an extern in the Data Privacy and Cybersecurity section of the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office. In her roles, she worked on issues concerning antidumping and countervailing duties, the classification and valuation of imported merchandise, SEC’s cybersecurity enforcement, and the False Claim Act.
Theresa graduated from George Washington University, cum laude with a B.A. in political science.
