Savannah P. Schaefer

Savannah Schaefer joins WBK as an Associate located in our Washington, DC, office. In her previous role as Senior Director for Advocacy at a major technology trade association, she led the development and advocacy of the association’s cyber and supply chain security legal and policy positions as well as other tech and telecom issues at the federal and global levels. She also served as Secretary of the Information Technology Sector Coordinating Council, as a working group co-chair of the Department of Homeland Security Information and Communications Technology Supply Chain Risk Management Task Force, and as a member of the Task Force Coordination Tiger Team.

Savannah has also served as policy counsel for another leading technology trade association where she drove the association’s cybersecurity legal and policy development and advocacy. Additionally, Savannah served as a fellow at the Federal Communications Commission in the agency’s Wireline Competition Bureau.

Savannah is a graduate of the University of Colorado and the University of Colorado Law School.
