Jeff brings both a depth and breadth of communications law experience to the firm’s clients.  Prior to joining the firm, Jeff served in the FCC’s Enforcement Bureau for over a decade, including eight years as Chief of the Investigations and Hearings Division.  In that capacity, he led hundreds of investigations and enforcement proceedings across all service areas regulated by the FCC, including broadcasting, cable and satellite operations, and broadband Internet access service, and helped to shape a variety of precedent-setting matters, including cases involving sponsorship identification, indecency, privacy, consumer protection, broadband transparency requirements, public safety, and the prevention of waste, fraud, and abuse in federal funding programs.

Prior to joining the FCC, Jeff was in private practice for over a dozen years at Washington, DC area communications law firms where he represented media and telecommunications companies in complex regulatory and transactional matters.
