Adam is a government affairs and strategy expert who utilizes his connections and wide-ranging communications and technology experience to inform decisions and drive results for his clients.

A native of North Dakota, Adam worked across various roles for then-Congressman Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) and Senator John Thune (R-S.D.) where he led on policy issues within the jurisdictions of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee. In addition to his policy experience, Adam also served as a Communications Director focusing on messaging and political strategy.

In 2017, Adam joined NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association as Director of Government Affairs. As a federal lobbyist, Adam represented the trade on Capitol Hill, in political fundraisers, and in speaking engagements across the U.S. During his tenure there, Adam played a large role working with lawmakers to craft telecom provisions in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the 2018 Farm Bill, the Broadband DATA Act, and the TRACED Act.

Adam joins WBK from his most recent role at Twilio as Head of Government Affairs where he developed and implemented Twilio’s government affairs strategy as well as managing Twilio’s relationships with industry trades, consultants, government officials, and policymakers on Capitol Hill. During his time at the tech company, Adam focused on a wider range of tech and telecom-based issues including privacy, content moderation, AI, trusted communications, and FCC Universal Service.
