Georgios Leris Joins Wilkinson Barker Knauer as Partner in DC Office
WASHINGTON, DC — Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP (WBK) is pleased to announce Georgios Leris has joined the firm as a Partner in the Washington, DC, office. George joins the firm after serving as Associate Division Chief for the Competition & Infrastructure Policy Division at the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Wireless Telecommunications Bureau.
Prior to joining the FCC, George spent eight years in private practice at a major law firm, providing strategic advice to clients about the FCC’s net neutrality proceedings, transactions involving FCC licenses, and court appeals of agency decisions. At the FCC, George primarily worked on wireless infrastructure deployments, environmental and historic preservation compliance, and spectrum allocation considerations. WBK is excited to be able to offer George’s legal acumen and deep expertise to our clients.

George holds a B.A. in Political Science from The George Washington University and received his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School.
