Nour Hasan advises clients on a broad range of telecommunications, technology, and national security regulatory matters. His practice includes FCC licensing and regulatory compliance; equipment authorization and supply-chain security requirements, including matters involving the FCC’s Covered List; universal service and broadband deployment programs; spectrum and wireless policy; and state telecommunications regulatory requirements. He also assists clients with national security reviews and compliance matters involving Team Telecom, CFIUS, FARA, and restrictions affecting communications equipment and technology supply chains.
His’s practice also focuses on emerging technology policy, including cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, connected devices, drones and counter-UAS technologies, robotics, and other technologies increasingly subject to federal security and communications regulation. He regularly helps clients assess new FCC rules and policy developments, understand how evolving regulatory requirements apply to their products and operations, and develop practical strategies for compliance.
Nour graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Industrial and Labor Relations before co-founding and leading ROC Industrial, an industrial automation technology company. He spent four years building and managing the company’s operations before pursuing a legal career. He earned his J.D. in 2025 from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a member of the Journal of Law and Public Policy, a Georgetown Tech Law Scholar, and participated in the Communications & Technology Law Clinic, focusing on issues at the intersection of law, technology, and public policy. He was also involved in the Middle Eastern and North African Law Students Association.
During law school, Nour gained experience in telecommunications and technology law through internships at Wilkinson Barker Knauer LLP and an AmLaw 100 firm.
Outside the office, Nour is usually reading about a new technology, watching a Real Madrid game, trying a new restaurant, or spending time with friends and family.
