Creative problem solving and a commonsense approach to complex and novel issues – these are the skills that Suzanne has been known for throughout her career in communications law.  Suzanne’s experience with communications-related legal issues is both broad and deep. During nearly 30 years of practice with the FCC, Suzanne played a role in countless seminal developments in communications law, from implementing the Telecom Act of 1996 to addressing the urgent infrastructure needs of 5G. She served in numerous senior management roles across the agency, including Deputy Chief of the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, Deputy General Counsel for Administrative Law, Deputy Chief and Acting Chief of the Enforcement Bureau, Acting Deputy Chief of the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau, and Acting Deputy Chief of the Wireline Competition Bureau.

Throughout her time at the FCC, Suzanne developed a knack for FCC enforcement. In fact, she was a manager in the FCC’s Enforcement Bureau on the day it opened for business in 1999 and spent several years of her FCC career there.

Prior to joining the FCC, Suzanne worked at the Federal Trade Commission and in private practice, practicing antitrust and communications law.
