Since beginning his legal career at WBK in 2017, James has advised clients on policy, regulatory, and transactional issues in the telecommunications and emerging technologies fields.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Park was a Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania Law School’s Center for Technology, Innovation & Competition, where he researched cyber-physical system designs and their applications in smart medical devices and autonomous vehicles, as well as how current laws and regulations will impact the technology. He also worked as an intern with the City of Philadelphia Law Department’s I.P. Division and the Software Freedom Law Center.
Research, draft, and file pleadings before the Federal Communications Commission and state public utility commissions. Monitor FCC, FTC, DHS, the Commerce Department, and the telecom industry for developments that impact client interests. Practice area is focused in privacy and cybersecurity, and wireless regulatory issues as they intersect with emerging technologies such as connected vehicles and the satellite industry.
