Wade’s practice focuses on telecommunications and media matters. A major emphasis of Wade’s practice over the last two decades has been investigations and forfeiture proceedings at the FCC, formal common carrier complaint proceedings, cable program carriage complaint hearings, merger proceedings, other FCC adjudicatory proceedings, and appeals of FCC decisions. Wade also assists clients on administrative law matters such as the Paperwork Reduction Act and the Congressional Review Act, energy and environmental law, and electronic discovery.
Wade is also a potter and ceramic artist whose work has appeared in several galleries in the United States.

Successfully defended a cable operator in multiple program carriage complaint cases before an administrative law judge, and assisted in defense of the ALJ’s decisions before the FCC and on judicial review
