David focuses on applying his extensive experience in complex litigation and regulatory matters to provide effective outcomes for his clients. David brings a targeted approach and a commitment to responsiveness to ensure his clients receive clear guidance and achieve positive results.

He began his legal career in Austin at a national law firm, where he developed his litigation skills across a variety of practice areas, including commercial litigation and administrative law. Prior to joining WBK, David served as a Senior Attorney for the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT). In this role, he represented PUCT Staff as the lead attorney in a variety of proceedings before the PUCT and the State Office of Administrative Hearings, including comprehensive base rate cases, transmission line cases, and generation cases.

David has spent his career in Austin and is a proud Longhorn. When he’s not working, he enjoys playing a round of golf at Lion’s Municipal Golf Course.
