Aaron Calder is an associate in the firm’s Energy group, where he focuses on energy, transactional, and regulatory matters. He brings a methodical approach to legal matters shaped by his decade of experience as an analyst, taking complex issues and breaking them into manageable items.

Aaron graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in where he received Dean’s Achievement Awards for outstanding student in Negotiation and Tax Factors for Financial Planning. Prior to law school Aaron provided expert witness and valuation services for energy infrastructure projects, he also worked directly with utilities and other end users to manage their price and regulatory risk.

Outside his legal practice, Aaron likes to explore Austin’s food and music scene.
