Will Lewis Joins Wilkinson Barker Knauer as Partner in DC Office

WASHINGTON DC — Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP (WBK) is pleased to announce that Will Lewis is joining the firm as a Partner in the Washington, DC office. Will comes to WBK after serving as Of Counsel at Aegis Trade Law.

Will relies on his in-house experience to better understand the needs of his clients and to help align their regulatory strategy with their business development plan. He has focused on spectrum and orbital debris safety issues, working primarily with the FCC and NOAA to support his clients’ licensing and policy objectives.

Will’s work has also led him to represent his clients in engagement with a number of other government agencies including the NTIA, NASA, NOAA, and the Office of Space Commerce. Will particularly enjoys learning the technical details of novel space and earth station technologies in order to identify potential regulatory issues and solutions.

WBK is excited to welcome Will to the firm and to provide our clients with his extensive experience in satellite systems and emerging technologies.

“Welcome Will to Team WBK! Will’s experience working with cutting-edge satellite systems operators and emerging technology companies adds further breadth and depth to our growing space practice,” said Managing Partner Bryan Tramont.  “The satellite and space-based economy shows no sign of slowing, and this dynamic sector will continue to be a strategic priority growth opportunity for the firm.”

“I am very excited to join the great team at WBK! I am eager to get a chance to know everyone better and learn from all the great attorneys on the team.” said Will Lewis.

Will received his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and a B.A. from Washington and Lee University.
