On February 11, WBK Managing Partner Bryan Tramont moderated a fireside chat with FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr during the Silicon Flatirons 2018 Annual Technology Policy Conference at the University of Colorado Law School. The 2018 conference explored the set of governance challenges raised by the dominance of software: the ability to make predictions in today’s technological environment, the increasing pervasive use of algorithms, whether the massive amounts of data created and analyzed should be stored locally, and the fundamental challenge of how to design regulatory institutions that can be effective in today’s technological environment.
