On October 23rd, Kenneth Satten was the moderator of a CLE titled, Nuts and Bolts of Applications for Approval of Assignments or Transfers of Licenses in the Broadcast, Cable, and Satellite Industries.  The panel discussed pointers and pitfalls in filing applications for assignments or transfers of FCC licenses in these industries.   He led the speakers in a discussion of topics relating to each Bureau and Division’s processing of assignment and transfer of control applications, including policies regarding the content of such applications, the impact of license renewals in transactions, multiple ownership matters, and consummation considerations.
