Brad Gillen Joins Wilkinson Barker Knauer from the Federal Communications Commission

Bradley K. Gillen has joined Wilkinson Barker Knauer, LLP as a partner in the Washington, D.C. office.  For the past two years, Mr. Gillen held senior positions at the Federal Communications Commission.  He most recently served as Special Counsel to the Wireline Competition Bureau Chief, working on the recently-adopted reforms to the FCC’s Universal Service Fund, and before that was a Legal Advisor to FCC Commissioner Meredith Attwell Baker on wireline, broadband, and media issues.

Before his FCC service, Mr. Gillen was Director of Federal Regulatory & Senior Counsel for DISH Network, helping the satellite television provider navigate the full range of media, technology, and satellite regulatory issues, primarily before the FCC and Congress. Mr. Gillen graduated summa cum laude from Hampden-Sydney College, and earned his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. Mr. Gillen began his legal career as an associate in the communications group with the law firm Wiley Rein.
