Tom Moran has represented telecommunications, mass media, and other clients in a wide variety of business transactions. In the telecom and mass media fields, he has represented radio and television broadcasters, cable systems, cellular telephone systems, paging systems and specialized mobile radio systems. He has assisted clients in structuring and forming corporations, partnerships, joint ventures and limited liability companies.
Mr. Moran has negotiated and drafted agreements for asset and stock acquisitions, mergers, equity investment, debt financing and other business and financial transactions. He also assists broadcast and other telecommunications clients in obtaining the FCC approvals necessary for ownership changes of FCC-licensed facilities. Mr. Moran previously worked in the Chief Counsel's Office of the Internal Revenue Service and this experience provides him with an understanding of the tax aspects of complex transactions.
