Patricia M. Chuh joined the firm in 2006 after 8 years in private practice representing broadcast clients on a wide variety of regulatory and transactional matters. Ms. Chuh has expertise in researching, drafting, and filing pleadings on behalf of broadcast clients in application and rulemaking proceedings before the Federal Communications Commission, as well as in assisting clients participate in FCC auctions, obtaining FCC authorizations to construct new broadcast stations, modifying the facilities of existing stations (e.g., upgrades, changes in communities of license, relocation of transmitter site), and obtaining renewal authorizations. Ms. Chuh also has experience in all aspects of transactional matters, including the negotiation and drafting of letters of intent and asset/stock purchase agreements for the purchase or sale of broadcast stations, conducting due diligence, preparing and filing applications to obtain FCC consent for transactions, drafting closing documents to consummate transactions, and conducting closings.
Ms. Chuh received her Juris Doctor from the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America, where she was a member of the Executive Editorial Board of the CommLaw Conspectus, and a Teaching Assistant in the Lawyering Skills Program. Ms. Chuh is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association. Prior to practicing law, Ms. Chuh had a career in the fashion industry in New York City.
