Kevin T. Ryan, an attorney with the firm, advises the firm’s clients on a variety of issues related to media and telecommunications policy and regulation, and plays a leading role for the firm’s Federal Communications Bar Association relationship.
Prior to law school, Mr. Ryan served as a senior policy advisor to Westchester County (NY) Executive Andy Spano and co-founded a political and media consulting company that specialized in direct mail, advocacy campaigns, and political targeting for local candidates throughout the Hudson Valley region of the Empire State. During law school, Mr. Ryan served as the Editor-in-Chief of CommLaw Conspectus: Journal of Communications Law and Policy, and authored “Communications Regulation – Ripe for Reform,” which was published in CommLaw Conspectus in 2009. His experience also includes internships at the National Telecommunications and Information Administration, with the House Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, and the Internet, at a major wireless handset device manufacturer, and in FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn’s office, where he served as a law clerk.
